Picture Book Idea Generator
So this kind-of started as a joke…I had a little writer’s block, so I wrote this generator to get picture book ideas to get my creative juices flowing again.
It isn’t perfect, but it helped get me out of my writing funk and back on track. Basically, I just have a list of nouns, verbs, and phrases; and the generator randomly picks one of each and displays them as picture book themes.
Hopefully, it will help others as well.

* A train who cries on a train…
* A bug who learns how to be a good friend with his/her best friend…
* A shark who wants something really badly on the moon…
* A boy who runs when no one else thinks he/she can…

* A teacher who learns how to be a good friend all the time…
* A tree who is grumpy on the moon…
* A teacher who whispers all the time…
* A turtle who learns how to be a good friend on a train…

This is a great idea for kids, parents, and teachers. I remember those longgggg road trips on which I’d have to make up story after story. This would have come in most handy.
